Biography
Since graduating from University of Dayton Law school in 1994, Kelly Elswick-Hall has enjoyed success due to her wide range of experience in several areas of the law giving her a unique knowledge base among her legal peers.
Kelly represents clients in personal injury cases, chemical and toxic exposure cases, head injury cases, deliberate intent cases, products liability litigation, car accident injury cases, medical negligence cases, wrongful discharge cases and multi-plaintiff litigation.
Kelly serves as a Governing Board member of the West Virginia Association for Justice and has served on numerous West Virginia State Bar Committees. She served as secretary of the West Virginia Workplace Injury Litigation Group; she was on the founding committee for the West Virginia Women Attorneys and serves as one of the group’s first district representatives.
In 2009, Kelly was awarded the President’s Award from the West Virginia Association for Justice in recognition of her commitment to protecting the rights of West Virginia workers and their families. She is AV Preeminent Rated for the Highest Level of Professional Excellence by her peers. She has received awards from the Legal Aid Society of Charleston, for providing free legal work to low-income clients.
Kelly volunteers her time lobbying at the state level to advocate for the rights of vulnerable West Virginia workers by using her experience to assist in drafting legislation.
She has reported decisions in the West Virginia Supreme Court and federal court in multiple areas of civil, and other administrative appeals.
